MSI GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING X TRIO Graphics Card brings the power of real-time ray tracing and AI to your PC games. The GPU features 24GB of GDDR6X VRAM and a 384-bit memory interface, offering improved performance and power efficiency over the previous Ampere-based generation.

The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs, such as DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1. HDMI 2.1 supports up to 48 Gb/s bandwidth and a range of higher resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K @ 60 fps, 4K @ 120 fps, and even up to 10K. The RTX 4090 is not just about high-resolution gaming. Computationally intensive programs can utilize the GPU’s 16384 cores to accelerate tasks using CUDA and other APIs.

For cooling, MSI implemented the Tri Frozr 3 Thermal Design. It features triple Torx 5.0 fans, which have blades linked by ring arcs and a fan cowl that work together to stabilize and maintain high-pressure airflow. The copper baseplate captures heat from the GPU and memory modules and rapidly transfers it to Core Pipes. A section of square-shape heat pipes make maximum contact over the GPU, then spread the heat to the heat sink. Sections of different heat sink fins disrupt unwanted airflow harmonics and reduce noise.
